On Sunday 10 June guests gathered at the Belmore Hotel in Sale for Flair Boutique UK’s inaugural fashion show. The Fizz, Fashion and Fragrance event was a chance for Anna Barker to launch her new clothing business and showcase the Spring/Summer 18 collection before she moves into Emporium M33 in Sale town centre.
Emporium M33 is a retail outlet that rents space to various business traders to offer an independent and diverse shopping experience to the local community. Manager Scott Lyons said; “With an ever-growing number of concessions, it’s a great place to shop and we’re looking forward to Flair Boutique UK coming on board to further strengthen our retail offering.”
Guests at Sunday’s event were greeted with prosecco on arrival and received a drinks voucher to get a second glass at the bar. Cakes were also available throughout the event. Nicola Boyle was the MC for the fashion show describing the outfits as the five models walked around the room. The ladies were then able to browse the rails and purchase those outfits that had caught their eye.
Sarah Edwards, Anna’s university friend was front of house at the event. She said:
“There was a great atmosphere even as the ladies were arriving; having a glass of bubbly and many were browsing before the show even started deciding on their new key summer piece.”
The perfumes and aftershave stall from FM Perfumes’ Nicola Ellis was a popular addition to the day with the event falling a week before Father’s Day. There was a raffle with prizes donated by Flair Boutique UK, FM Perfumes, Sugar Lumps Bakery, Pose Hair Health and Beauty and Natural Beauty. The raffle proceeds and 20% of the ticket sales from the event totalled £252 which will be donated to The Christie in Manchester; an internationally recognised centre for the treatment of cancer.
Anna said: “I’m delighted my event was so successful. From my front of house, my MC and the models – who looked incredible – to all my family working hard in the background, I’d like to thank everyone for their support ensuring a fantastic afternoon was had by all. It was a great opportunity to launch Flair Boutique UK before I move into Emporium M33. I’m very excited about the future.
Sarah Edwards said: “What a perfect Sunday; great fashion, chat and fizz!”
